A. MATTHIAS - His name means, “gift of God”. He is never again mentioned in scripture after his choosing by lot. Acts
2:26

We do know that he met the requirements Peter established for replacing Judas: he’d followed Jesus since his baptism by John the Baptist, and he witnessed Jesus’ ascension to heaven (Acts 1)

Since Jesus mentioned 12 thrones in heaven for the apostles, it was necessary to fill the empty place left by Judas. Matthew 19:28

✅ And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: (no one is left out! Old men, young men, handmaiden ladies, and children. God will speak to each one.)

✅ House Churches are very important in the Kingdom of God! Apostle Paul was driven out of the synagogue and moved into the home of JUSTUS next door to the synagogue. Acts 18
✡️ It was there that the Rabbi CRISPUS believed on the Lord Jesus with his entire family!
🔥 This sparked a revival and many Gentile Corinthians also believed and were baptized!
✅ Never Marginalize the small HOUSE CHURCH! It takes all sizes of churches to do God’s work! ❤️
